You have to be an employee or teacher under the Ministry of Education, lecturers in public/ private institutions of Higher Education or MARA Junior Science College (MRMS). Aside from that, you also have to be earning a minimum monthly income amount of RM2,000.

If you withdraw cash with the BSN 1 TeachersCard Mastercard, you have to pay a fee of 5% of the total amount withdrawn or RM10.
